A few backgrounds I'm considering using for my final animation.

Character descriptions

Another walkcycle n_n It's a lot easier to do now that I finally have a tablet XD
A lot smoother than the last one I made, but I think I can do better than this.



From sad to happy n_n When I first drew this guy, he looked like he had cancer O_o;; Not exactly what I was going for...



Just trying out various facial expressions. Didn't quite work out how I wanted. Looks more like he's brushing dirt of his hands than wringing them, but whatever. It's close enough.

A walk cycle I made at uni n_n It's a bit jerky and very unrefined, but I'll practice more and eventually it'll look better.

Animan

Here's my rendition of Animan. He's not your typical hero, but he's definately a hero to his kind.
As a necromancer, he has the ability to animate the dead. As the patriarch of his order he is the religious leader and was a front figure in the struggle forgeneral acceptance for the public in times past. But times have changed, and the Patriarch seeks to expand the influence of the Necromancers and gain a place in the political world, in a conservative country, and this has angered another religious order, calling themselves the Healers, who now openly seek to destroy all necromancers.

Animan is outspoken and irritable. Hates interuptions and work that is not properly done. He has strong political views, and when challenged is quick to turn a debate into an argument.
His ultimate goal for the necromancers to gain a political seat and to have influence in the comings and goings of the country. (And preferably the downfall of the Healers)

*Ahem* I'm not entirely sure if this is what was required of me to do. I wanted to make a hero but a different one. But I think I may have strayed a bit too far from the point of the assignment.
Anyway, I haven't finished sketching his adversary, but as soon as I have, I'll upload it as well n_n

Storyboard thingie

Well, here's a storyboard of what I'd like to do to the final animation. I was thinking something along the lines of two trolls ending up in a fight. I was planning on showing each step on the drawing, but I ran out of paper -___-
Basically, It'd go like this:
One troll walks along to a place where he's supposed to meet another troll for a duel. He arrives, both trolls exchange insults and then fighting ensues.
I'm gonna try to use various aspects of animation, such as squash/stretch and arcs in the fighting scene.
I'm not really sure yet as to how the story should end, or exactly why the trolls are duelling, but I'll come up with something n_n

Here are a few sketches of the trolls I usually draw. I'm thinking about using them in my final animation, though I haven't really decided yet.
I've tried showing them from different angles and with various expressions. I need to practice expressions more...
